    Description

    This vintage Blues Harp has a Marine Band 1896 core but different covers - they have no side vents. This forces all of the sound out the back of the harp which is preferred by many blues players. This Blues Harp has been replaced by the Blues Harp MS which was an unfortunate "improvement." Each of these harps has been refurbished (see albertharp.com/refurbishment-process/ for details) and customized by replacing the nails with screws. In addition, the comb has been sanded and treated with Butcher Block Conditioner. Tuned to Hohner compromise just intonation. Buyer may choose either the vinyl Blues Harps pouch with snap or the AlbertHarp padded pouch at the time of purchase (the hard shell Blues Harp boxes are gone).
