For your consideration there is Izannah Walker reproduction doll.
The doll was made after original technology of antique materials and fabrics where possible. His head (it is a boy) was made of papier mache and painted with professional oil paints to look old and worn. The body is of antique linen and filled with wood wool (it is pleasantly heavy). His hands and legs are filled with pure new wool and painted with oil. He is wearing an outfit of true antique fabric in 1868 fashion.
The doll is 17" tall, it needs a stand to stay.
