Ceramic Wild Turkey Bottle Stoppers Lot
This lot of figural bottle stoppers was purchased in Lawrenceburg, KY, home of Wild Turkey Distillery.  The person I bought them from said their father worked at the distillery and from time to time, workers were given or allowed to take these figural ceramic bottle stoppers home with them.  Over time, this employee managed to amass this sizeable collection.  There are some pencil markings on the very inside of them but no actual maker's marks or other indications (besides shape and color) of the year, mold, or designer.  There are many different shapes and styles represented in this collection:
3 matte bisque porcelain 1" diameter x 2.5"H.  One has a broken pointy thing above its beak and another has a chip on the bottom beak.
3 matte bisque porcelain 1 1/4" - 1 5/8" diameter x 3" - 3 1/2"H.  One has a small chip on the base.
6 similar style glossy porcelain 1 1/2" diameter x 3"H.  This style has a squat neck and wide base.
3 similar style glossy porcelain 1 1/2" diameter x 4"H.  This style has an elongated straight neck.  One of these has a big chip on the back base.
3 similar style glossy porcelain 1 1/2" diameter x 4 1/2"H.  This style has an angled forward neck and an elongated oval shaped base.  One has a chipped pointy thing above its beak and another has a small chip on the base.
Glossy porcelain crook neck 1 3/4" diameter x 4 1/2"H.  Marked 28 in pencil on inside base.
Glossy porcelain thick neck 1 5/8" diameter x 4"H.  Marked 16 in pencil on inside base.
12 smaller stoppers in various shapes.  About 2"H give or take, 5/8" cork, 1" diameter.  One is bisque matte porcelain, the rest are glossy.  Some are crook neck, some are straight neck.  One has a sizeable chip on it's beak and another has a noticeable chip on the base; the rest look okay.
Measurement note:  These are approximate measurements, the best I can get.  When I say diameter, I am measuring across the cavity, not the outside diameter.  The dozen smaller ones have a 5/8" cork and the rest have a 3/4"-7/8" cork.
Condition note:  I have attempted to describe the most major flaws I see.  It is not an exhaustive, complete list as you may see different things than I did.
General condition:  I would say that the person who collected these just had them to bring them joy.  They are not pristine, mint condition items that are museum-quality.  Just interesting pieces that a Wild Turkey or KY Bourbon enthusiast might enjoy displaying.
Detailed description: Items have been used and show wear.  They have been gently cleaned but you may wish to do a more thorough job.  A few of them have small chips in them but not have major broken off parts.  Some have damaged liquor tax stamps on them.  Corks are generally absent, there are a few broken ones attached.  I will include the loose corks that were in the box they came in.
Pricing:  Sold as one lot, I am not selling them individually.  Save $$$ by buying these in a lot - they are just .59 each.  Great investment if you want to resell or just to get your hands on a bunch of these at one time!
