    Description

Fresh from the estate of a buyer for Denver's now defunct JHB International, these 3
    Colorado Cermastone
buttons, measuring 3/4 inch, are named Mesa Verde. I have multiple
dealers wholesale price lists dating from 1969 to 1977.
This faux turquoise stone is described as "a composition of sands and clays found in the old mine dumps of the Gold Rush Days... specially ground and processed by hand to produce this attractive and durable stone."
These buttons have glued-on plastic shanks. See my other listings for the Cermastone jewelry.
