!!  I've been playing drums for roughly 60 years.
Started when I was 5 or 6 years old.  I am an avid drummer as well as an informal collector of percussion instruments.   I have an almost embarrassing amount of equipment so over the years I'm thinning the flock a bit.

DESCRIPTION OF ITEM AND LISTING TYPE
Here's a vintage 1972 Rogers drumset, in excellent condition, complete with all Swivomatic hardware, internal muffling with external knobs, heads in excellent condition, KOA wrap tight and bright, chrome luxurious and rust and pitting free.    The labels are in the interior of each drum, the Rogers script logos are present on each drum.    The drums look stunning and sound prominent and warm.    The drums are five  ply maple shells, with proprietary speckled coating interior present in each.   The heads are barely used Clear Pinstripe on the batter heads of the three toms, and Clear Remo Ambassador on the resonant side. .   The bass drum front bears the Rogers logo, and the kick side is Evans 360 Emad, for the perfect "thump" sound.

As mentioned this set is 100% factory original.   They came with hard cases, which I always used to transport or store them in.  This is a classic instance of a drum set that was stellar in its time, and not made any more.   I've set a reasonable price, given its condition and vintage of 00.00 to Buy it Now.    Will consider Best Offers within this price range.
If you've been shopping for a Rogers vintage kit for a while, you know that these drums are as desirable, if not moreso, today as when they were first produced.    During production it was the general consensus that vintage Rogers kits were the finest made.
The set consists of a 22" bass drum (with 10 lugs per side); 16" floor tom, and 12 and 13" Rack toms.    Snare drum and cymbals that appear in any photograph incident to this listing are not included in this sale.   These drums are truly in remarkable physical condition and sound terrific.   They are in round with perfect bearing edges.
The set was made in Roger's Fullerton California factory.  Despite the excellent,  one might say mint condition of these drums I am setting a reasonable price, much lower than many other such listings on Ebay for same era Rogers kits  of 00.00, down from the 00.00 original listing.   This sale will terminate soon.  Shipping to the contiguous U.S. via Fed Ex Ground/ Home is 5.00.
I mentioned earlier that I have the original hard cases that the drums came to me in.   I will sell those as well to the buyer if interested for 5.00 additional.    We can make that arrangement once you've contracted for the purchase
