    Description

Vacation from June 2 thru June 11. PLEASE HOLD ALL BIDS/OFFERS UNTIL I GET BACK. THANKS.
This is an atypical theater knife made during WW2. I say atypical because there is no cockpit glass in the handle. That kind of glass was commonly used to make these theater knives. The navy machinists usually made them in the machine shops which most ships had during the war. Nice shape for it's age and not terribly rare. I think most of the knives that had cockpit glass were made on aircraft carriers where that material was fairly common. Check out the pics and add it to your collection.
There is a military collectors' show at the Portland airport Holiday Inn the last week of August. Lots of tables full of militaria. Very nice show.
    The
    Blade Show West
has been moved from Portland to Long Beach, Ca. and is in October. Look it up, check it out, show up. Looks like The Blade Show is still on for June 4 - 6 in Atlanta. That's really a nice show if you can handle Atlanta. Big, too.
This knife is on consignment so there is no return.
This item is available for sale locally at Hawthorne Cutlery and local antique and knife shows in the Portland, OR area. If we ever have them again. Hawthorne Cutlery is open Tuesday thru Sat. from 11ish to 4ish (6 on Sat.) during this pandemic. Masks are mandatory but clothing is optional. ;-p
Don't forget the Antique Japanese Sword Shows that might still happen around the country. The first is in August (maybe) at the San Francisco Airport Marriott the first weekend of August and the second is in Orlando and that date has tentatively been set for July 6th-8th or so. Both are wonderful three day shows. GET YOUR SHOTS AND WEAR YOUR MASKS.
    Not offered internationally
unless you consider Orlando to be international. It's not, it's just Florida.
