    Description

    Good, original, WWII US M1 carbine bayonet. Imperial made, marked "US M* IMPERIAL" on the guard w/ordnance mark. Length is just under 11 1/2" long w/the blade just over 6 1/2". It has light sharpening w/a couple of minor edge nicks. Otherwise the edge is excellent and it retains about 40% original finish with no rust or pitting. Guard is tight. Leather grip shows wear, but is still in good shape. Pommel is marked as shown. The catch works nicely and this mounts easily on a carbine. Comes in original, US M8A1 B.M. Co. marked scabbard. It's missing the hook, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Very nice American bayonet.
